During the month of December our class will be learning about and experiencing holidays around the world. On December 1st, we will be discussing our own family traditions. Please discuss with your child some of your family traditions so that they will be ready for this activity.
You are also cordially invited to our Holiday Show and Cookie Swap on December 11 at 9:00. We will be providing entertainment in the gym. After the show we will have our cookie swap in the classroom. Please bring (or send with your child if you will be unable to attend) a dozen cookies to share with the class. If they are home made cookies, please bring the recipe so that we can share it with anyone who may be interested.

Contacting Us
Since we live in a high tech world, I decided to start a class blog and a class e-mail. As you can see this is the class blog. The class e-mail is younglifeprek1@gmail.com. Harvest Party
Our Harvest Party will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008. It will start at 9:45. Our room mom, Kelly, has planned some fun crafts and games for the class to take part in during the party. If you would like to help with this party in any way, please let Mrs. McCown, Mrs. Martin, or Kelly know!
